70 · Atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease
Atherosclerosis develops within arterial walls through lipid retention, inflammation, and tissue remodelling. Its mechanisms connect long-term risk management with recognition of acute emergencies.
11 · Circulation: vessels, pressure and tissue perfusion
Blood pressure helps drive circulation, but does not directly measure tissue oxygen supply. Follow blood through arteries, the microcirculation and veins to connect pressure, resistance and exchange.
